This Monday, at least 1,000 infrastructure companies and 3,000 manufacturing companies reactivate operations. The peak and gender are raised, but not everyone will be able to leave their house. The mask will be compulsory for everyone.
This Monday the economic reactivation begins in Bogotá, with the return of at least 1,000 infrastructure companies and 3,000 manufacturers that were authorized by the District under the parameters established by the National Government in the midst of quarantine, so it is expected that at least 2.5 million people return to the streets in the capital.
Given this, the city mayor’s office established new measures to facilitate the mobility of those who return to their jobs and those who must continue at home, taking into account that the orange alert was declared in the town of Kennedy and three UPZs were prioritized, where there will be special vigilance for the outbreaks of contagion that have arisen.
What will happen to the peak and gender?
The measure is lifted, since with the reactivation of the economy it is difficult to identify who should leave for work.
And the beak and plate?
For now there is no restriction on the movement of vehicles since it is assumed that only those who must work will leave. Anyway, only the cars of the authorized companies will be able to do it and depending on the size they can go from two to four people.
Will the use of the mask be compulsory?
Yes, anyone who goes outside must carry one. This should cover the nose and mouth. Whoever does not carry it may be penalized for not complying with the conditions of the quarantine. “You have to leave as if we all knew that we are positive for coronavirus,” López said in an interview with Noticias Caracol.
Who return to work?
The mayor’s office began since last week the registration and control of companies that are gradually returning to work. Among them are 1,000 works in which 50,000 workers will operate, as well as 3,000 manufacturing companies in which there will be around 22,000 employees, according to the mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López.
What about marketing companies?
Your registration begins tomorrow. This must be done through the mayor’s page www.bogota.gov.co/reactivación-economica, where the form for the different types of companies can be found, since a special link was enabled for companies with less than 10 employees , to facilitate your process.
To restart operations, they will have to have all the security protocols that guarantee isolation and basic protection conditions.
What will be the working hours?
For construction works it will be from 10:00 a.m. at 7:00 p.m., while for manufacturers it will be 10:00 a.m. at 5:00 a.m. With respect to the others, the schedule from 12:00 m until midnight is contemplated. Despite the restrictions, the District is willing to evaluate different schedules for companies that require it.
Will there be cycle paths?
Yes, in fact, the District authorized an additional 80 km of bicycle paths in order to avoid congestion in Trasnmilenio, since it is expected that the operations of the public transport system will not exceed 35%, since if required the required isolation cannot be guaranteed .
Will you be able to go out to exercise?
Yes, at the times established by the District from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., but now without gender restrictions, as they were lifted.
What are the special care areas?
They are those in which the Ministry of Health has found high rates of covid-19 infection. So far, the UPZ of Bavaria, Calandaima Corabastos and Patio Bonito have been decreed, but the mayor pointed out that there may be more, as they are identified.
There will be permanent epidemiological surveillance, massive testing of its inhabitants, targeted aid to poor and vulnerable people, educational activities and citizen culture, disinfection sessions and others that the authorities deem necessary.
