The Ministry of Health in its daily report reported that in the last 24 hours, 7,424 new cases of covid-19 were registered in the national territory, this results in a total of 702,088 confirmed cases throughout the country.
In addition, the portfolio reported that, in total, 28,683 PCR tests and 9,124 antigens were performed. As for the number of deaths, so far there are, in total, 22,518 deaths due to the virus, of which 243 occurred in the last hours.
Despite the total number of confirmed cases, the Ministry assured that the active cases in the country are 95,398, while the number of recovered amounts to 582,694.
Regarding the regions with the most infections, Bogotá scored with 1,793 cases in the last 24 hours, followed by Antioquia with 1,129, Cesar with 579 Valle with 474, Santander 434, Cundinamarca 389, Meta 320 and Córdoba 251.
