The Ministry of Health today reported a total of 24,966 PCR tests and another 5,386 of antigens performed in the country, of these, 9,394 were positive. Today there are 139,041 active cases in the country.
Although the figures in the capital tend to flatten, they continue to rise; today 3,338 new cases are counted, being the first city with the highest number of covid cases; followed by Antioquia in 1,229, Cundinamarca that registered 535, Santander 498 and another 418 in the Valley.
It should be noted that today is the first day of the economic reactivation in different parts of the country, although strong biosafety protocols have been prepared to reduce the risks of contagion, experts are attentive to how the figures are developed in the future to be able to make decisions against the movement of the virus.
Meanwhile, 297 cases of deceased people were registered, of which 278 died in previous days. The accumulated number of deceased amounts to 19,064; while on the other hand, those recovered already exceed 440,500.
