Mayor of Ibagué confirms a new curfew extended this weekend

The Mayor’s Office of Ibagué reported a few minutes ago that, by order of the Ministry of Health and as a result of the critical scenario caused by the pandemic, this weekend there will again be mandatory extended confinement in the urban area and rural areas.

The extended curfew begins this Friday at 8:00 p.m. and ends next Monday at 5:00 a.m. In addition, during the next week the night confinement will also be in effect between 8:00 pm and 5:00 am each day.

Other measures in ‘soak’?

Parallel to these provisions, the Municipal Government also analyzes three restrictions proposed by the National Federation of Merchants in Tolima:

1. Permanent curfew 24 hours a day for minors

2. Ban all sports, competition and training activities involving multiple people

3. Touch of sectorization only in neighborhoods and communes that show the highest number of active cases
