“From Bavaria we have joined as managers of this great initiative with Cerveza Águila because we know that it is time to be more united than ever. On this occasion, we have joined forces with other Latin American brands to convene the greatest musical exponents of the moment, and thus, invite the citizens of the region to join in for the different social causes that we will be promoting, such as the support we want to give to one of the most vulnerable regions of our Colombia, Chocó ”says Thor Borresen, Bavaria’s vice president of the market.

The international sessions of Latinos Unidos Live will begin on May 9 with world-class Latin American artists that will be communicated in the coming days. The international version will raise resources for each country through the International Red Cross; non-profit entity that will be in charge of distributing the money collected in each country.

“Solidarity is the mother of all values, it is the ability not only to put yourself in someone else’s shoes, and understand their needs, but also to unite in the face of adversity to seek solutions that generate common well-being. Solidarity is so Contagious and so easy to carry out, that a person who receives must also be willing to give, and be in solidarity with another, and thus a chain of well-being is being generated. We have been promoting and carrying out solidarity actions for 45 years ; in those years the fruits are countless, “said María Carolina Hoyos Turbay, president of the Solidarity Foundation for Colombia.

Both local and international sessions will be broadcast through the channels of Cerveza Águila in Colombia, and will have direct redirection to donate to the local cause, and internationally, through the Red Cross. In other countries, the signal will be transmitted through local beer brands, including Brahma and Skol from Brazil, Victoria and Modelo Especial from Mexico, and Cerveza Presidente from the Dominican Republic, among others.
