So far, 11 people have been killed in the first two nights of chaos, unleashed by the death of Javier Ordóñez, in the midst of events that are the subject of investigation and involve members of the Police and that, due to the brutality of the evidence on video, they aroused the anger and indignation of Bogotá.
Almost all of them are young, under 30 years old. Eight are from Bogotá and three are from Soacha. And many of them were hit by gunshots amid the confusion; there were those who were not even participating in the demonstrations.

Woman run over by a stolen bus
Around 10 pm, a 40-year-old woman was run over by a SITP bus that had been stolen by a group of criminals and was speeding through the streets.
On Avenida Ciudad de Cali with Calle 137 the woman was hit.
The ambulance arrived at the scene and the health personnel gave him a resuscitation for more than 30 minutes, but he did not respond.

Jaider Fonseca, minor (17 years old)
The youngest was Jaider Alexánder Fonseca, a 17-year-old minor who, according to his family, worked as a homemaker in a steakhouse. He died at the Children’s Cardio Clinic due to respiratory arrest after receiving four impacts from a firearm in the Verbenal neighborhood, in the town of Usaquén. He left a seven-month-old baby orphaned.
“Four shots for fighting for their rights and for those of all young people. We are in a country where rights are not valued. For demanding them, they attack us, ”said Luz Mary Martínez, the minor’s aunt.
Julieth Martínez, was going to a friend’s house (18 years old)
Another victim was Julieth Martínez, an 18-year-old girl who died in the midst of the excesses of the Suba Gaitana sector. She studied psychology and English and spent her days studying and caring for her sister.
“In that disorder that was in Suba La Gaitana … a stray bullet. I don’t know if it was from the police or the thugs. They killed my daughter,” said Harold Ramírez, Julieth’s father, who called for investigations and justice.
“My friend tells me that my daughter collapsed, she came here dead,” added the father, who maintained that she was not participating in the protests.

Fredy Mahecha, watchman (20 years old)
Fredy Mahecha, a security guard at a shopping mall, also died. He was 20 years old and was shot in the chest. He passed away when he was being transferred to the Suba Hospital.
Germán Smith Puentes, domiciliary (25 years old)
He was left in the middle of the protests as he tried to get home. “Is that the kind of protection that Bogota citizens have? What else do you want? It was my son that they took from me. I only ask for justice for my son, who is going to give him back to me? ”Said Graciela Valero, the young man’s mother. Puentes was riding his bicycle when a bullet hit him in the head, residents of Suba Rincón picked him up to take him to the local hospital. He died around nine at night.
“He was working. The policemen were shooting like crazy … everyone was shooting. He was precisely shot,” said one of the witnesses and indicated that Germán fell while riding a bicycle when he was hit in the head by one of the the bullets.
Andrés Rodríguez (23 years old)
He died while undergoing surgery at the Simón Bolívar Hospital. According to the authorities’ report, he was shot in the chest.
Angie Paola Baquero (19 years old)
Baquero received a bullet impact in the abdomen and despite being treated by the medical staff of the Engativá Hospital, the wound compromised her vital organs and she died.

Julián González (27 years old)
He also died, despite the medical effort to save his life. He was an engineer and worked in a gas company. He was shot in the abdomen and died at Kennedy Hospital.
Soacha
In the neighboring municipality of Soacha there were three deaths.
Cristian Hurtado (27 years old)
According to the authorities’ report, it is about Cristian Andrés Hurtado Meneses, 27, an industrial engineer. Meneses was shot in Ciudad Verde and transferred to the Cardiovascular Hospital in San Mateo, where he died.

Lorwuan Estiven Mendoza, a 26-year-old young man, also died in this municipality.
There is a third deceased who, at the end of this edition, had not been identified by the authorities.
Balance
The latest balance of the Ministry of Defense speaks of 209 civilians injured and
194 uniformed wounded.
60 Police facilities have been vandalized.
