Jail for the young man accused of beheading a man in eastern Cali

The Prosecutor’s Office announced Wednesday that a 20-year-old man was sent to prison, apparently for being the perpetrator of the terrible murder of a man who was found with signs of torture and without a head.

The macabre crime would have occurred last Sunday, May 11 (Mother’s Day), on Carrera 25C with Calle 124, Desepaz neighborhood, east of the capital of Valle.

According to the evidences and evidential material collected by the investigating entity, the death of Fausto España Quiñonez, 27, was registered during a fight with the insured, who, allegedly armed with a machete, mortally wounded the victim, beheaded him. and failing to butcher him, he would have tried to incinerate him.

His mother gave him away

The alleged murderer was captured by Metropolitan Police officers, after his own mother went to the Desepaz Police Station, and narrated that her son arrived at the house with his clothes stained with blood and told him what had happened.

The Criminal Judge 28 issued the imprisonment order for the insured to be transferred to the Villahermosa prison.

The Prosecutor’s Office asked the health and health authorities to review the medical condition of the captured person and ensure that he is in good condition, this before being transferred to prison.
