According to the National Institute of Health (INS), 306 health sector workers from different areas have been confirmed with the new coronavirus, of which 80 are doctors, 42 nurses, 95 auxiliaries in that branch and 11 respiratory therapists.
The list includes administrative personnel, instrumentation, dentists, students and even security personnel.
According to the report, 93.8 percent of the cases have been handled at home, 4.9 have been handled in the hospital and 1.3 (four doctors) have died.

It is specifically known that the most affected city is Bogotá, with 17 cases, followed by Cali (6) and Cartagena (4).
As for the doctors, 66 of them were infected in activities related to the exercise of their work.Three correspond to community infections and eleven are imported cases.
This information is as of April 23; however, the report clarifies that in the Sivigila registry 299 cases that are pending clarification of profession and infection front are studied.

It is worth noting that the records of the Rosales, Pereira, and La Paz clinics in Bogotá, where massive infections have been confirmed, are still under epidemiological analysis and awaiting confirmation from the primary data-generating units, which are, respectively, the Ministry of Health of Risaralda and that of Bogotá.
