Previously, Colombian students who studied in Canada and did not enjoy many financial resources could only work 20 hours a week, and they had to do it within the facilities of the academic institution in which they were enrolled. Now, that same group of students will be able to work up to 40 a week, if they do so in activities related to health, infrastructure or food supply, according to the newspaper El Tiempo.
Similarly, the Canadian government increased the budget that will finance student scholarships for young people from around the world by Canadian $ 9 billion starting next year. Thus, there will be more opportunities to find an academic program that offers financial incentives to those interested.
