An explosion very close to the UP headquarters in Medellín set off the alarms on the afternoon of October 6. According to the Administrative Department of Disaster Risk Management DAGRD, at the moment they are finishing verifying the circumstances of the explosion that apparently occurred in a commercial premises.
Apparently it occurred due to the accumulation of gases while repairs were being carried out in a local, according to the DAGRD. 14 units of the Medellín firefighters attended the emergency and 4 were injured.
