Vic Rumbold, an English man, sued the car company Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) claiming a wrongful dismissal that occurred in December 2018.
The case, however, barely transcends public opinion because a court in Birmingham, a city in southern England, agreed with Rumbold, who missed his shift 808 times during the 20 years that he worked with the company.

The plaintiff requested each leave for health reasons, including work accidents and, on one occasion, an alleged assault case, explains the local media ‘Birmingham Live’.

“In the best case scenario they would have reached a stage where the complainant could have received advice or a warning about their absences and the need to improve to avoid an additional sanction”, Explained the judge, collects the quoted medium.
In the trial it was also assured that, from March 12 to August 13, 2018, Rumbos had a leave for avascular necrosis (death of bone tissue due to lack of blood supply, according to the Mayo Clinic).
