The President of the United States, Donald Trump, briefly left the hospital where he is admitted after contracting coronavirus this Sunday to greet supporters from his car.

Shortly before, through his Twitter account, the president published a video in which he again thanked the medical personnel who treat him, he said he had learned “a lot” about covid-19, after being infected.

“I learned a lot about covid, I learned it at real school,” Trump said in a video posted on Twitter.

“This is the real school. This is not the ‘let’s read books’ school, and I get it, and I understand it, and it’s something very interesting.”

Soon after, Trump left Walter Reed Hospital outside Washington for a surprise visit to supporters gathered outside the facility.
Video footage showed him wearing a mask and waving to the crowd from his truck, which was escorted by a caravan of vehicles.

“I think I’m going to give a little surprise to the great patriots who are on the streets,” he had announced before taking the short walk.

“They have been there a long time, they have Trump flags and they love our country.”
