The senior official, who a few days ago represented President Iván Duque at the event of the signing of the act to build the Bogotá Metro, reported on his infection in a trill, published below, in which he clarifies that he is asymptomatic and is in good health.

The news is known just days after Vice President Marta Lucía Ramírez announced that she also contracted COVID-19, which caused her some discomforts such as slight headaches.

Molano also joins officials of the National Government, such as Daniel Palacios, Vice Minister of the Interior, who also had coronavirus; not counting other public employees such as prosecutor Francisco Barbosa, mayor Daniel Quintero and senator Armando Benedetti who have already suffered from the pandemic.

It is not yet known how the director of the Administrative Department of the Presidency, also a former councilman of Bogotá, was infected.
