In a meeting held between the mayors of the 12 municipalities of the department and led by the governor of Quindío, Roberto Jairo Jaramillo Cárdenas, with the aim of protecting the health of adults and children and limiting the contagion of coronavirus, which is proven to increase in events massive or agglomerations such as the traditional celebration of October 31, the curfew and dry law were decreed in unity.
According to the departmental president, a curfew for minors and dry law were arranged for the localities from Friday, October 30 at 4 p.m. in all municipalities until Monday, November 2 at 6 a.m., except of Armenia, where both restrictions will go until 6 am on Sunday, November 1.

Let us remember that we are at one of the highest points, according to epidemiologists and now we must preserve life and not affect the economy, “said the governor of Quindío who also assured that the use of masks and makeup that do not allow easy identification of citizens on October 31.
