Donnelly, from New Jersey, began to notice that he had gradually lost both senses, which made him suspect that he might possibly be infected and, although A quick test showed he had the virus, his friends couldn’t believe it.
For this reason the man decided to join the TikTok trend ‘covid taste test’, a challenge that consists of trying different foods to verify that there are alterations in taste.

In the video that quickly went viral, Donnelly cuts a red onion while explaining that he has coronavirus and therefore cannot taste anything.
“Everyone tells me to try to eat something unpleasant, but I don’t have anything unpleasant in my house, so I thought I’d like to eat something that was strong or spicy,” story.
