The Ministry of Health has just issued resolution 666, by which it adopts the general biosafety protocol that employers, employers and workers must comply with, both public and private, to mitigate and control the coronavirus pandemic.
This resolution commits all forms of hiring, linking and job performance in the country, as well as government entities. that require carrying out their activities during the period of health emergency.
In the same way, it delegates the responsibility of its fulfillment to employers, contractors of all kinds, to whom it forces other tasks. For their part, workers must rigorously comply with all protocols for as long as they remain on the company’s premises or in the performance of their duties, immediately report suspected potential infections, even if this occurs at home or on the way to work. They are also required to take all preventive measures and report any changes in their health status in Coronapp.
Compliance with the foregoing and the corresponding surveillance will remain in the hands of the health secretariats of each territory and in the entity that oversees the activity corresponding economic, who must strictly supervise and if necessary initiate sanction processes.

The protocol –which must be known by all workers and employers as of today in order to be fully adopted before taking office– includes the definition of terms, the specific characteristics of the staff to guarantee handwashing in the workplace, the physical distance that should not be less than two meters in the posts, avoid direct contacts, definition of gauging in venues and social spaces and impediment to meetings that do not guarantee the minimum distance.
Likewise, it is instructed on the provision of personal protection elements for each employee that must be defined according to each job and covered by the ARL. In addition, the document insists on the mandatory use of face masks.
Resolution 666 devotes a part to defining and describing the cleanliness of areas, the handling of products and substances, and the management of waste. And in the same sense it raises the instructions for the prevention and management of risk of contagion and issues instructions to guarantee protective measures in remote or remote work, as well as other precautions to take into account in all areas of worker permanence.
