Karen Andrea Rodríguez published on her Facebook account on the afternoon of this Wednesday, April 22, a disturbing photograph she took when she arrived at her home, located in the Abedules de Santafé residential complex, in the north of Bogotá.

On a wall at the entrance to the apartment was written: “Doctor, if you don’t go, we’ll kill your wife and children.” Immediately, the woman decided to photograph the scene and report the fact.

“Hello friends, please spread a threat to my family of doctors north of Bogotá, it is outrageous, please help,” wrote the victim of these threats, who received hundreds of messages of solidarity on that social network.

“Let’s unite and support health personnel. Not only with applause we protect their lives and denounce if we know about this,” replied a citizen in the publication. This photo has already been shared more than 21 thousand times and has more than 900 comments.

The administration of the residential complex issued a statement rejecting the facts and asked those who have been victims of threats of this type to file a complaint with the competent authority.

“From the administration, we have been supporting the affected family and making all the material and resources available to the authorities available for the respective forensic analysis,” they reported.

Bogotá Security Secretary Hugo Acero explained that police men, led by the commander of the Usaquén station, and Sijín units, have already met with the doctor who was threatened and are collecting first-hand information with which opened a criminal investigation to find those responsible for the threat.

“What we did was, first of all, our solidarity with him and his family, and of course guaranteeing that we are aware of his case and that whatever he requires from now on, he can call us at any time to say that something is happening, or to ask for help. or manifest what you want, “Acero said.
