In social networks a controversy has been unleashed by the presentation of the rapper Saya at the BoomBap Fest, a virtual event that is part of the Cali Fair, on Tuesday night.
The intervention, described by the same artist as “femigansta”, is aimed at “rapists, abusers and abusers,” she said.
The artist used strong words and expressions that have caused sensitivity.
Saya went viral after the publication of the questioned fragment on different Twitter accounts such as Comuna 22.
“It just happened in the transmission … this is a staging and lyrics for the Caleña family and the world? Please do not be obfuscated with this comment. We only call your attention,” said this account on the social network.
After the publication, many citizens began to share and comment on the video with messages for and against the words used by the rapper.

To the multiple citizen criticisms, the comments of city councilors about this intervention in the virtual Fair have also been added, which has not escaped controversy since before its inception.
“Sexist violence, it is not fought with more violence. Big mistake! Very bad the lyric of the song @Corfecali”, said councilman Juan Martín Bravo.
Councilor Fernando Tamayo stated: “I think I have a broad concept of ART, but beyond what I think, this presentation in family hours borders on the grotesque and the aggressive.”
“I am a woman and a feminist with great pride, but frankly it seems to me a video that promotes stereotypes and that I had nothing to be doing during family hours without warnings. Another blunder by the Mayor,” said the representative to the Chamber Catalina Ortiz.
On the other hand, Councilor Terry Hurtado said: “I love listening to Saya, one of the sharpest rappers in Cali, with a song against sexist violence at the #FeriaDeCaliPorLaVida. Double hit by
@feriadecaliof when opening space to marginalized genres and incorporating social criticism. Good that @Corfecali “.
Another who expressed her support was councilor Ana Erazo, who stated: “while in Cali they are scandalized because the beautiful Saya sings her truths to males because of rapists, in Argentina they #decide and approve a safe and free abortion law. Much to unlearn But here we go walking. Thanks Saya for singing it, long live hip hop. “

Mayor Jorge Iván Ospina has not directly referred to the presentation on his social networks, but he retweeted the message of support published by councilman Terry Hurtado and also defended the holding of alternative events at the Cali Fair.
“So they are bothered by investments in our artists, our identity and culture? How then do you think we will overcome the pigeonhole and damage ideas, or reckless behavior?” He said on Twitter.
The BoomBap Fest was broadcast on the official channels of the Cali Fair.
