He put on the ruana, while most of Bogotá slept, and went to the main supply center in the country.

Claudia López met with the manager of Corabastos behind closed doors to discuss what other measures to take there to curb the spread of COVID-19

Within the established, informal vendors will not be able to work in the plant and new peak and gender will govern. Traders complain that they do not receive aid.

In Corabastos, 22 cases of coronaviruses have been detected, which are part of the more than 800 that exist in the town of Kennedy.

For this reason, the mayor of Bogotá decided that the plant may not exceed 35% occupancy to avoid further contagion.

After two hours of meeting, in which the Vice Minister of Agriculture, Juan Camilo Restrepo, and the Secretary of Health, Alejandro Gómez also participated, parameters were defined.

“It was agreed that tomorrow (Wednesday) in the afternoon there will be a meeting with the Ministry of Health for a number of tests and permanent tests at the Abastos plant for all its concurrences,” revealed the vice minister.

These coronavirus tests would be done not only on Corabastos workers, but also on buyers.

Disinfection measures established on weekends will also run until Wednesday.

Starting on Thursday, the new peak and ID will govern and those who have completed documents in these numbers will not be able to go to Corabastos:

Monday: 0, 1 and 2

Tuesday: 3, 4, 5 and 6

Wednesday: 7, 8 and 9

Thursday: 0, 1, 2 and 3

Friday: 4, 5 and 6

Saturday: 7, 8 and 9

Those who live from the rummage say that the measures should be accompanied by aid.

“I am 23 years old, a girl of 4, I owe two months of rent, we do not go out to sell because we want to, it is out of necessity,” said Jhonatan López, one of those affected.
