Lbequeathed the Ninth And at MARCA Claro we want to accompany you in these parties. They are days of happiness to share with your family and friends and here we bring you the prayers to follow the steps easily.
The Strenna Novena It is a tradition that has been carried out for hundreds of years at Christmas time to gather with family and friends in prayer and song. It is a custom that lasts the nine days before Christmas, with a prayer for each day that we show you below for this third day:
Day Third
Thus had the Child Jesus begun his incarnate life. Let us consider the glorious soul and the holy body that he had taken, adorning them deeply. Admired in the first place in the soul of that Divine Child, consider us in her the fullness of his sanctifying grace; that of his beatific science, for which from the first moment of his life he saw the divine essence more clearly than all the angels and law the past and the future with all his arcane knowledge. He knew nothing by acquisition that he did not know by infusion from the first moment of his being; but he adopted all the diseases of our nature to which he could worthily submit, even when it was not necessary for the great work that he must accomplish. Let us ask him that his divine faculties replace the weakness of ours and give them new energy; May his memory teach us to remember his benefits, his understanding to think of him, his will to do nothing but what he wants and in his service.
From the soul of the Child Jesus let us now pass to his body, which was a world of wonders, a masterpiece of the hand of God. It was not, like ours, a hindrance to the soul; it was, on the contrary, a new element of holiness. He wanted it to be small and weak like that of children, and subject to all the discomforts of childhood, to become more like us and participate in our humiliations. The Holy Spirit formed that divine little body with such delicacy and such capacity to feel, that it could suffer excess to accomplish the great work of our redemption. The beauty of that divine body was greater than what was divine, it was greater than anything ever imagined; the divine blood that began to circulate through his veins from the moment of incarnation is the one that washes all the stains of the guilty world. Let us ask him to wash ours in the sacrament of penance, so that on his Christmas day he may find us purified, forgiven and ready to receive him with love and spiritual benefit.
Most blessed God of infinite charity, who so loved men, that you gave them in your son the pledge of your love, so that, made man in the womb of a Virgin, he would be born in a manger for our health and medicine; I, on behalf of all mortals, give you infinite thanks for such sovereign benefit. In return I offer you the poverty, humility and other virtues of your humanized son, pleading with you for his divine merits, for the discomfort in which he was born and for the tender tears that he shed in the manger, that you dispose of our hearts with profound humility, with love on fire, with such contempt for all things earthly, so that the newborn Jesus may have his cradle in them and dwell forever. Amn. (Glory to the Father is prayed three times).
Sovereign Mara, because of your great virtues and especially because of your humility, you deserved that a whole God chose you as his mother, I beg you that you yourself prepare and dispose of my soul and that of all those who at this time made this novena, for the birth of your beloved son. Oh sweet mother !, communicate to me something of the deep recollection and divine tenderness with which you awaited him, so that you make us less unworthy to see him, love him and adore him for all eternity. Amn. (The Avemara is prayed three times).
O most holy Joseph, husband of Mary and foster father of Jesus! Infinite thanks I give to God because he chose you for such sovereign mysteries and adorned you with all the gifts provided to such excellent greatness. I beg you, for the love you had for the Divine Child, you embrace me in fervent desire to see him and receive him sacramentally, while in his divine essence I see him and I enjoy him in heaven. Amn. (An Our Father, a Hail and a Glory Be said)
Remember, oh sweet Child Jesus, that you said to the venerable Margaret of the Blessed Sacrament, and in her person to all your devotees, these words so consoling for our poor, burdened and suffering humanity: “Whatever you want to ask, ask for the merits. of my childhood and nothing will be denied you. ” Full of confidence in you, oh Jess !, that you are the same truth, we come to expose you all our misery. Help us to lead a holy life, to achieve a blissful eternity. Concede us for the infinite merits of your childhood, the grace of which we need so much. We give ourselves to you, O almighty Child!, Certain that we will not give up our hope frustrated, and that by virtue of your divine promise, you will welcome and send our request favorably. Amn.
