Cartagena adds 253 new infections and 2 deaths from COVID-19 | THE UNIVERSAL

On the afternoon of this Sunday, September 13, the Ministry of Health confirmed 253 new infections of COVID-19 in Cartagena, so the total cases rose to 21,837.

Minsalud also reported the death of two people from the virus, in such a way that the number of fatalities rose to 535.

The last deaths were a 65-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man, both with study comorbidities.

It should be noted that in the city 20,105 people have already overcome the coronavirus, that is, there are 1,197 active cases.

The neighborhoods that lead this list are: Olaya Herrera, San Fernando and El Pozón.

Bolivar

In the rest of the department, 64 new cases were reported, raising those infected to 5,322.

The death of a 46-year-old man, who lived in São Paulo and with comorbidities under study, and another man, 63, who lived in the same population and suffered from hypertension and COPD, were also reported.

After these two cases, the death toll in Bolívar rose to 207. It should be noted that Arenal and El Carmen are the municipalities with the highest mortality rate per 100,000 inhabitants in the department.

In total 4,710 people have won the battle against COVID-19 in Bolívar.
