The Ministry of Health confirmed this Sunday, December 27, 204 new infections of COVID-19 in Cartagena, which brought the total cases to 42,318.

It also reported the death of 10 people from the virus, reaching 749 deaths since the start of the pandemic in the city.

The latest fatalities were: a 78-year-old woman (diseases under study), a 68-year-old man (hypertension), a 53-year-old man (under study), a 90-year-old man (malnutrition), a 75-year-old man (under study), a 56 (under study), man 85 (under study), woman 107 (under study), woman 81 (under study), man 54 (under study).

Bolivar

32 new infections were reported in the department, bringing the total number of cases to 8,124.

In the municipalities, three deaths were reported, bringing the count to 299.

The deceased are a 96-year-old woman in Cicuco (hypertension and diabetes), a 70-year-old woman in Barranco de Loba (hypertension and diabetes), a 100-year-old man in San Juan Nepomuceno (malnutrition and smoking).
