This was stated by a woman who witnessed the event, and who gave her help to the injured, in conversation with Citynoticias.

“He overturned on the curve, did four laps, fell on the car, the only thing I said to my children was: ‘stay seated’; I ran out, tried to get the girl out, the girl turned her eyes, I said: ‘Mommy, calm down, calm down “; We opened the door on the right side, we took the lady out, the lady got out consciously, ”the witness said.

A relative of the victims explained the state of health of those involved, who are in the Meisse hospital, in the south of the city. “The girl is asleep, but well, the little one is in intensive care, and the big one is in a clinic in Kennedy, they have him in a procedure”said the woman.

In this unfortunate accident, the father of the family, who was driving the vehicle, and a child under the age of five who arrived at the health center without vital signs, lost his life instantly.

General Carlos Rodríguez, director of traffic for the National Police, sent a message of solidarity to the affected family, and announced that investigations are already underway to determine the reasons for this event.

It has not yet been confirmed if any of the drivers involved were under the influence of alcohol, But the tests are already being carried out by Legal Medicine to confirm or discard this hypothesis.

For its part, the official body of BOmberos de Bogotá reported that it provided pre-hospital care to a person who was injured, and on its Twiiter account it sent a message that reinforces the hypothesis that the event would have been caused by speeding.
