The water clouded the day of mobilizations that was scheduled for this Thursday in the country’s capital. The protesters who arrived at the Plaza de Bolívar dispersed with the intense downpour that occurred around noon and that has been replicated in the afternoon.
According to the Ideam, Bogotá presents rains with electrical storms and even hail in some sectors of the center, west and north of the territory.
For its part, the Idiger tool that visualizes the most critical points in terms of rainfall in the capital mentions that the towns of United Neighborhoods, Teusaquillo, Chapinero, Santa Fe and San Cristóbal These are the towns where heavy and moderate rains occur in the afternoon this Thursday.

The Fire Department has attended several emergencies such as the one presented in the historic center of the city where a power pole fell on a taxi, specifically on Avenida Circunvalar with 41. A person who was injured was being treated by a mobile phone from the Ministry of Health. In turn, the authorities register the fall of several utility poles and trees near the National Park.

Here are other incidents that have occurred in different locations:

-Puddling on Avenida Boyacá with 128.
-Puddling on race 28 with 70.
One of the most serious situations is registered on NQS avenue with 68th street where the water level reached the door of the houses and premises of the sector. In this video it is observed how motorcyclists struggle to move their vehicles to the edge of the road.
The rains also affected the passage at kilometer 7 of the Bogotá-Choachí road. Although the rockslide and the presence of mud occurred in the morning of this Thursday, since noon this corridor has been closed in its entirety.
According to Ideam, it is estimated that in the next three days the rains will increase in sectors of the Caribbean and Andean regions, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms and winds above normal.
