“As a result of dialogue and listening to restaurateurs and hotel owners and microentrepreneurs in the city, Acodres, Fenalco and other unions, we have made the decision to raise the bill and certificate to hotels and restaurants in Bogotá with the commitment to control strict of gauges and biosecurity measures “, explained the Secretary.
Every health measure we have taken in Bogotá seeks a balance between health care and the economy.

Since Monday, when the measure began, the restaurant sector’s disagreement over the restriction was perceived.
“The measure is convenient because, clearly, the numbers show that many families are neglecting self-care. But a peak and certificate measure applied to restaurants practically causes their closure, especially at a time when reservations are already being taken. When the identification numbers do not coincide, the reservations begin to be canceled and, as a sector, we accumulate losses again because we are left with the purchased inventory and with the contracted personnel, “lamented Henrique Gómez, president of Acodres.

Acodres, Fenalco and Asobares had sent, respectively, letters to the District for the measure to be reconsidered. This adjustment is the result of those negotiations.
However, The peak and ID will continue in Bogotá for the rest of the commercial establishments and for the banking and notarial procedures points.
