According to López, “We will have high occupancy, but risk of collapse we hope not, that is the difference between the peak that we have already passed and those that may come”, by explaining that the past peak threatened to exceed the installed capacity of the ICU, which means a high risk for the capital since the failure to respond to the medical care needs would have translated into a higher mortality rate in the city because of the virus.

The president reiterated the importance of the self-care as the main strategy to mitigate viral spread, within the framework of the reactivation of the different economic sectors, and the lifting of the mandatory quarantine.
