With the figures reported this Saturday, the regions that accumulate the most infections continue to be Bogotá (692,249), Antioquia (382,652), Valle del Cauca (210,316), Atlántico (159,108) and Cundinamarca (111,684).
In the country, 55,547 infections are still active, corresponding to 2.27% of the total, while 2,309,356 cases have been counted as recovered, that is, 94.7%.
Regarding deaths, of which 136 occurred in previous days, the Ministry of Health reported that the majority occurred in Atlántico (47), followed by Antioquia (30), Bogotá (19), Magdalena (13), Valle del Cauca (9), Córdoba (7), Quindío (6), Boyacá (5), Cesar and La Guajira (4).
During the day, 36,332 samples were processed, of which 28,637 were of the PCR type and 7,659 of antigens, for a total of 12.87 million tests performed.
According to data from the Ministry of Health released this Saturday, as of this Friday, 2,336,144 vaccines had been applied in the country, of which 364,253 correspond to second doses.
