Only one person survived the Ubaté air accident registered on Tuesday afternoon: it is a minor of one and a half years, son of the couple who died at the time of impact.

The boy’s father was a doctor who graduated from the National University, He had worked with the Santa Fe Foundation, the San Ignacio University Hospital and the Los Nogales Clinic. And for several years he was linked to the Civil Air Patrol, which carries out humanitarian brigades to the most remote and vulnerable populations in the country. Leaves three minor children orphans.
His mother was a lawyer specializing in telecommunications law.
Although there is still no precise explanation of how the child survived, authorities hypothesize that the mother took emergency measures and protected him with her body in a fetal position.
