In the last hours the authorities deactivated a massive party that was taking place on public roads in the San Marino neighborhood, eastern Cali.

From the Mayor’s Office they reported that this celebration generated the agglomeration of “more than 800 people.”

In videos disseminated on social networks, the failure to comply with the measures to prevent the contagion of covid-19, such as the use of masks and distancing, was evidenced.

“We insist on citizens: the protection of life is a priority, we must all assume the commitment to health and self-care,” they assured from the Ministry of Security and Justice.

Authorities have not reported whether sanctions were imposed on the party’s organizers.

It should be noted that, by decree, for the celebration of Halloween, the Municipality prohibited during this weekend “any activity that by its conditions facilitates the agglomeration of people.”

Cali registers 61,587 cases of covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.
