The pandemic continues to increase its growth curve in Quindío, registering 230 new cases this Saturday for a total of 7,195 people infected with Covid-19 between March 13 and October 17.
So far, 182 human lives have been lost due to contagion in this area of the country, where mourning, sadness and regret increase every day and according to reports in the last hours there are 6 more deaths in Montenegro and Armenia.
The authorities reported that a 79-year-old woman died in Montenegro, while another 92-year-old lost her life in the capital of Quindío as well as 4 men of 57, 71, 73 and 75 years of age, the results of 788 samples taken are expected in Quindío where 4,913 infected have been recovered.
In Armenia this Saturday, October 17, there are 5 thousand 68 cases, Calarcá has 911, La Tebaida 330, Montenegro 241, Circasia 203, Quimbaya 178, Filandia 100, Salento 51, Córdoba 42, Génova 33, Buenavista 19 and Pijao 19 for a total of 7,195 infections.
The figures in health personnel continued to rise with 367 infected today, of which 83 are nurses, 79 nursing assistants, 44 doctors, 12 social workers and 10 psychologists among others.
