The Sectional Secretariat of Health and Social Protection of Antioquia reported that 1,080 new registered cases of infected by Covid-19 in the department and rises to 122,871.
In Medellín there are (590), Bello (121), Itagüí (104), Envigado (74), Sabaneta (32), Copacabana (24), Girardota (19), Rionegro (17), Caldas (16), La Estrella ( 12), Guarne (6), Yarumal (5), Barbosa (4), Apartadó (4), Guatapé (3), El Santuario (3), Donmatías (3), Sopetrán (3), Puerto Berrío (2), Betulia (2), Tarazá (2), Chigorodó (2), Vegachí (2), Santa Rosa de Osos (2), El Bagre (2), San Pedro de los Milagros (2), Urrao (2), Marinilla ( 2), Carmen de Viboral (2), Santa fe de Antioquia (2), El Retiro (1), Olaya (1), San Jerónimo (1), Santa Bárbara (1), Camp (1), San Roque (1 ), Támesis (1), Puerto Triunfo (1), La Unión (1), Carepa (1), Angostura (1), Zaragoza (1), La Pintada (1), Abejorral (1), Yolombó (1) and Ituango (1).
All these new infected have been previously identified, placed in isolation and under the corresponding epidemiological surveillance.
With these new cases, the number of infected people in the department of Antioquia amounts to 122,871. Of these, 60,524 are women and 62,347 are men.

ACTIVE CASES IN ANTIOQUIA:
In Medellín there are 1,887 cases and the remaining 1,028 are distributed as follows in the following municipalities: Bello (230), Itagüí (159), Envigado (148), Caldas (56), Rionegro (54), Sabaneta (53), Girardota (47 ), Copacabana (45), La Estrella (41), Guarne (26), Apartadó (18), Marinilla (17), Barbosa (9), Carepa (8), El Bagre (7), Yarumal (7), Carmen de Viboral (6), Chigorodó (5), Donmatías (5), El Retiro (4), Tarazá (4), El Santuario (4), Sopetrán (3), Ciudad Bolívar (3), Urrao (3), Guatapé (3), Puerto Triunfo (3), El Peñol (3), San Pedro de los Milagros (3), Santa fe de Antioquia (3), La Ceja (3), Yolombó (3), Turbo (2), Briceño (2), Vegachí (2), Puerto Berrío (2), Abejorral (2), Granada (2), Amagá (2), Heliconia (2), Dabeiba (2), Betulia (2), San Roque (2) , Santa Rosa de Osos (2), Armenia (1), La Unión (1), Alejandría (1), Támesis (1), Angostura (1), Cisneros (1), Yondó (1), Zaragoza (1), San Jerónimo (1), Giraldo (1), Olaya (1), Entrerríos (1), Camp (1), Ituango (1), Santa Bárbara (1), Cocorná (1), La Pintada (1), Peque (1), Cáceres (1), Santo Domingo (1) and Concepción (1).
Likewise, it points out that there are (600) hospitalized patients: (299) in the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, and (301) in general hospitalization.
Regarding the patients from other departments and who are hospitalized there are (11) people. From Chocó (3) are in a general room, Córdoba (1) in ICU and (3) in general hospitalization, Boyacá (1) in general hospitalization, Sucre (1) in ICU, Nariño (1) in general hospitalization and Risaralda (1 ) in ICU.
Regarding ICU beds, the department has 923 for COVID patients, of the latter there are 706 occupied, between confirmed and suspected patients. In other words, the occupation of COVID beds in the department is 76.49%.
