But Raimundo began to improve, the virus left his body and began another tough battle: to rehabilitate himself. According to his nephew José María Del Castillo explained to El Universal, he was transferred to Remeo Center to begin receiving therapies that would help him rehabilitate his neurological, muscular and other functions, affected after spending almost two months in an ICU. “His therapeutic part has advanced a lot, he even speaks, with difficulty, but he manages to do so”, explains José María Del Castillo. According to his family member, Raimundo was already affirming and shaking his head to communicate, which indicated an improvement, but things got complicated again today, when the oxygen saturation in the blood dropped to 75 (the optimal levels are between 95 and 100) .
“His son Carlos Eduardo called me this morning to tell me that his father was moving backwards,” explains Del Castillo, so they immediately began to arrange his transfer, which took place around one in the afternoon. According to the same relative, Raimundo has been stabilized and is still undergoing tests to determine the reason for the drop in his saturation indices.
