The Sectional Secretariat of Health and Social Protection of Antioquia reported that there were 2,111 new registered cases of infected by Covid-19 in the department and it rises to 120,226.

Medellín (1,191), Bello (237), Itagüí (158), Envigado (128), Caldas (70), Rionegro (47), Copacabana (37), Sabaneta (29), La Estrella (27), Girardota (26 ), Armenia (19), Apartadó (14), Yarumal (11), Donmatías (9), Santa fe de Antioquia (9), Marinilla (8), Guarne (8), Barbosa (8), Segovia (6), Amagá (5), Turbo (5), Pueblorrico (5), Urrao (4), Carmen de Viboral (4), El Retiro (4), Granada (4), La Ceja (4), Santa Rosa de Osos (3 ), Buriticá (3), El Santuario (3), Remedios (3), Ituango (2), Chigorodó (2), San Vicente (2), Cáceres (2), Santa Bárbara (2), El Bagre (1) , Peque (1), Fredonia (1), Giraldo (1), Concepción (1), Ciudad Bolívar (1), Valdivia (1), San Andrés de Cuerquia (1), Puerto Berrío (1), Nariño (1) , San Roque (1) and Briceño (1).

All these new infected have been previously identified, placed in isolation and under the corresponding epidemiological surveillance.

With these new cases, the number of infected people in Antioquia rises to 120,226. Of them 59,108 are women and 61,118 are men.

Likewise, it indicates that there are (601) hospitalized patients: (329) in the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, and (272) in general hospitalization.

Regarding patients from other departments and who are hospitalized there are (14) people. From Chocó (5) are in a general room, Córdoba (1) in ICU and (3) in general hospitalization, Santander (1) in general hospitalization, Boyacá (1) in general hospitalization, Sucre (1) in ICU and (1) in general hospitalization and Nariño (1) in general hospitalization.

Regarding ICU beds, the department has 923 for COVID patients, of the latter there are 686 occupied, between confirmed and suspected patients. That is, the occupancy of COVID beds in the department is 74.32%.
