The number of infected in Antioquia this Saturday was 1,032

The Sectional Secretariat of Health and Social Protection of Antioquia reported that 1,032 new registered cases of infected by Covid-19 in the department and rises to 118,115.

In Medellín there are (479), Bello (130), Envigado (70), Itagüí (57), Copacabana (31), Sabaneta (31), Caldas (29), Puerto Berrío (26), La Estrella (25), Rionegro (21), Girardota (19), Apartadó (17), Marinilla (13), Guarne (10), Barbosa (9), Donmatías (8), Santa Rosa de Osos (6), Turbo (5), Carmen de Viboral (5), Dabeiba (4), Chigorodó (4), Segovia (3), Ciudad Bolívar (2), El Bagre (2), Carepa (2), San Roque (2), Yolombó (2), La Ceja ( 2), San Pedro de los Milagros (1), Betulia (1), Ebéjico (1), Amagá (1), Entrerríos (1), Caucasia (1), San Luis (1), Valdivia (1), Hispania ( 1), Yarumal (1), Briceño (1), Giraldo (1), Venice (1), Andes (1), Concepción (1), Santa Bárbara (1), El Santuario (1) and El Retiro (1) .

All these new infected have been previously identified, placed in isolation and under the corresponding epidemiological surveillance.

With these new cases, the number of infected people in the department of Antioquia amounts to 118,115. Of these 57,970 are women and 60,145 are men.

ACTIVE CASES IN ANTIOQUIA:

In Medellín there are 1,884 cases and the remaining 1,076 are distributed as follows in the following municipalities: Bello (251), Itagüí (126), Envigado (116), Caldas (73), Rionegro (63), Copacabana (63), Sabaneta (55 ), La Estrella (50), Girardota (43), Puerto Berrío (31), Marinilla (28), Apartadó (26), Guarne (22), Barbosa (11), Donmatías (8), Carmen de Viboral (6) , Santa Rosa de Osos (6), Chigorodó (6), Carepa (6), El Bagre (5), Peque (5), La Ceja (5), Turbo (5), Segovia (4), Dabeiba (4) , El Retiro (4), Briceño (3), Yarumal (3), Ciudad Bolívar (3), El Peñol (3), Entrerríos (2), San Carlos (2), Granada (2), Yolombó (2), San Pedro de los Milagros 2), Puerto Triunfo (2), Urrao (2), Tarazá (2), San Roque (2), Concepción (1), Yondó (1), Algeria (1), Cocorná (1), Ituango (1), Santa Bárbara (1), San Jerónimo (1), Caucasia (1), Abriaquí (1), Necoclí (1), Venice (1), Hispania (1), Andes (1), Ebéjico (1 ), San Luis (1), Amagá (1), Valdivia (1), Betulia (1), Liborina (1), El Santuario (1), Giraldo (1), Santa faith of Antioquia (1), Cisneros (1) and Sonsón (1).

Likewise, it points out that there are (658) hospitalized patients: (327) in the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, and (331) in general hospitalization.

Regarding the patients from other departments and who are hospitalized there are (14) people. From Chocó (5) are in a general room, Córdoba (1) in ICU and (3) in general hospitalization, Santander (1) in general hospitalization, Boyacá (1) in general hospitalization, Sucre (1) in ICU and (1) in general hospitalization and Nariño (1) in general hospitalization.

Regarding ICU beds, the department has 923 for COVID patients, of the latter there are 683 occupied, between confirmed and suspected patients. That is, the occupancy of COVID beds in the department is 74%.
