In the country, 5,637 new cases of COVID-19, for a total of 829,679 confirmed infections, of which 58,262 are still active.
In the last 24 hours, 35,293 tests were processed, of which 23,147 were PCR and 12,146 antigens. In addition, 170 deaths were reported, and of that total 150 belonged to previous days. With this report, the number of deaths from covid-19 stood at 25,998.
Bogotá once again led the national report and by cities, with 2,033 infections, followed by Barranquilla, with 43; Cartagena, with 43; Guajira, with 30 and Santa Marta, with seven.
Antioquia was the department with the most cases, with 919; then Valle was located, with 584; Santander, with 302 and Cesar, with 217.
At the end of the list were Vichada and Chocó, with two and one confirmed case for covid-19, respectively.
The national total of recoveries amounts to 743,653 people, while in the world, the number exceeds 23.4 million. In addition, global deaths from the virus exceed 1 million and confirmed cases, 33.7 million.
