93 Colombians stranded in Chile will return to the country

Through a humanitarian flight authorized by the national government, 93 Colombians stranded in Chile will be returned to the country due to restrictive measures taken by the authorities to contain the expansion of covid-19 in the country.

The chancellor Claudia Blum He reiterated that the return of these compatriots is done in accordance with the protocol established for this class of flights. Citizens assumed the cost of the air ticket and must be subjected to mandatory isolation.

Before arriving in the country, the compatriots they will be submitted to protocols and biosecurity measures in all air terminals. After disembarking, all occupants of the flight will receive health evaluations from Port Health, the Red Cross and the District Health Secretariat.

The 93 Colombians must comply with the quarantine in the city of Bogotá and those who do not comply with it could incur administrative and criminal sanctions. The costs in terms of transfers, food and lodging, in case the traveler does not live in Bogotá, must be borne by him.

If during the isolation any of the citizens present symptoms related to the disease, they should report it to the corresponding authorities.
