The Sectional Secretariat of Health and Social Protection of Antioquia reported that 720 new registered cases of infected by Covid-19 in the department and rises to 94,447.

In Medellín there are (408), Bello (93), Itagüí (41), Envigado (37), Caldas (20), Sabaneta (16), Copacabana (16), Rionegro (15), Apartadó (10), La Estrella ( 10), Girardota (8), Barbosa (7), Marinilla (6), Segovia (5), Chigorodó (4), Carmen de Viboral (4), Remedios (3), La Pintada (3), Yarumal (2) , Carepa (2), Amagá (2), Puerto Berrío (1), San Pedro de los Milagros (1), Andes (1), El Santuario (1), Concepción (1), Montebello (1), La Ceja ( 1) and Ituango (1).

All these new infected have been previously identified, placed in isolation and under the corresponding epidemiological surveillance.

With these new cases, the number of infected people in the department of Antioquia amounts to 94,447. Of these, 45,691 are women and 48,756 are men.

ACTIVE CASES IN ANTIOQUIA:

From Chocó (1) are in ICU and (6) in general room, Córdoba (1) in ICU and (1) in general hospitalization, Santander (1) in general hospitalization, Cundinamarca (1) in ICU, Valle (1) in ICU, Magdalena (1) in general hospitalization and Sucre (1) in general hospitalization.

Regarding ICU beds, the department has 920 for COVID patients, of the latter there are 632 occupied, between confirmed and suspected patients. That is, the occupation of COVID beds in the department is 68.70%.
