The Antioquia Sectional Health Directorate reported that the department reached the figure of 501 infected by COVID-19.
Today, ten (10) new cases were presented, all of them in the city of Medellín.
All these infected were previously identified, placed in isolation and under epidemiological surveillance. With these new cases, the number of people infected in the department amounts to 501. Of these, 246 are women and 255 are men.
The report indicates that, to date, there are 104 active cases in the department and the number of people recovered amounts to 391. Of the active, 76 cases are reported in Medellín and the remaining 28 are distributed in the following municipalities: Bello ( 8), Copacabana (6), La Estrella (2), Itagüí (3), Cisneros (1), El Carmen de Viboral (1), El Bagre (1), Envigado (2), Ituango (3) and Rionegro ( one).
Additionally, the report indicates that there are ten (10) hospitalized patients: four (4) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and six (6) in general hospitalization.
