- The meeting also confirmed the delivery of the 14 million dollars to the Member Associations from the Evolution Fund. This investment will reach more than 400 South American soccer clubs.
- So far, and according to the FIFA calendar, the Qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup remain unchanged.

CONMEBOL continues to work for the return of football with all the necessary preventive measures, which is why the Confederation Council, meeting today via videoconference, analyzed the possible scenarios that South American football will have to face in the coming months.
The Council reaffirmed its commitment to always have as a fundamental requirement the fulfillment of all the necessary preventive measures established by the health authorities in each of the countries when football returns.
“These follow-up meetings with the members of the Council allow us to have a real and updated pulse of the situation in each of the federations, as well as align objectives, protocols and new measures that mitigate the impact of Covid-19 in continental soccer” assured after the meeting Alejandro Domínguez, President of CONMEBOL.
In addition, the Council confirmed the final delivery to the Member Associations of the $ 14 million from the Evolution Fund. According to the Confederation’s calculations, the scope of this investment will exceed 400 clubs in South American football.
