The 18-year-old had been released on Wednesday, March 24, and was initially transferred, along with his partner Darwin Javier Sáenz, to Caucasia where the first medical observations were made. After this he was taken to Pereira, his hometown, where he died today.

At this time the other six young people who were rescued are in good health and are with their families. However, it is expected that they will continue to undergo medical examinations that can prevent a situation similar to Sebastian’s.

There is concern for this last young man who needs to be rescued, because according to those who managed to leave, Valencia’s state of health was not good. “The minor who is in the hands of Los Caparros is still in a delicate state of health, for that reason we are going to call a march next Wednesday in the municipality of Anserma, Caldas, asking for the release of the minor under 15 years of age. the only one that remains for him to come out of captivity, ”Parra told Snail Radio.
Six of the eight recruited left from Anserma (Caldas), while two, including Sebastián, did so from Pereira with the dream of knowing the sea. However, when they arrived in Valdivia (Antioquia) they were intercepted by this illegal armed group and recruited to carry out different tasks.
