The measure of the peak and ID seeks to reduce the crowds in the commerce in Cali to reduce the contagion of covid-19 in the city.

Article 12 of Decree 4112.010.20.0010 of 2021 specifies that the measure is rotating.

This Thursday, January 28, according to the rotation, people whose identity document ends in an odd digit (1, 3, 5, 7 and 9) will be able to enter any establishment to purchase goods and services; carry out proceedings in banking, financial and notarial establishments; and go to the citizen service points in public entities.

The peak and ID restriction does not apply to those services and notarial, banking, financial and administrative procedures that require the simultaneous appearance of two or more people.

Likewise, for citizens who serve as support to older adults, people with disabilities or sick people with special treatments that require accompaniment.

Medical personnel and others related to the provision of the health service, duly identified, are also exempt.

Transit services and consumption in restaurants and bars are also excepted; the acquisition of goods for hotels and restaurants; and the activities carried out in hotels and lodging services.

Peak and ID in Cali from January 25 to 31, 2021

With the 1,688 new cases of covid-19 that the Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported this Wednesday, the Valley registers four consecutive days with more than 1,500 daily cases.

According to the reports of the National Institute of Health, INS, in the department 1542 infections were registered this Sunday, 1524 on Monday and on Tuesday the figure was 1922 infections.

In the bulletin they report 48 deaths due to the disease, which occurred in Cali (28), Palmira (5), El Cerrito (3), Seville (3), Cartago (2), Tuluá (2) and one in Yumbo, Pradera, Dagua, Candelaria and Bugalagrande.

Thus, the department was left with a general balance of 5,293 deaths and 168,849 infections since the start of the pandemic.

It should be noted that of the 1125 Intensive Care Units, ICU, that are in the department, 66.4% are occupied by cases of covid-19, 30.6% by patients with other pathologies, while only 3.% are available.

The occupancy level of ICU beds in Cali this Wednesday is 95%, according to figures from the Municipal Health Secretariat
