This Friday the funeral of the lawyer José María Hernández Alviz, the father of Seuxis Pausias or alias Jesús Santrich, who died the night of December 23 at a clinic in Sincelejo.

Funeral honors are held in the Municipal Cemetery of Toluviejo, the town where he was born 80 years ago.

Abdiel Hernández Solarte, one of the 8 children of Professor José María, confirmed to EL HERALDO that his father had been admitted to the Social Health Clinic, in Sincelejo, since December 9 for kidney problems since he had polycystic kidneys, in addition to gallbladder inflammation, which led to other complications that ultimately led to his death.

He remembered his father as an honest, sincere, intelligent man, very outstanding, docile and kind.

For 15 years he was a teacher pensioner.

In his youth he had been an educational administrator in several schools in the national territory, he worked at the University of Nariño as a graduate in Philosophy, rector at the Carmelo Percy Vergara High School, in Corozal, and from there he went on to the area of ​​educational supervision in the Ministry of Education of Sucre.

The last position in which Professor José María was, as he was called, was in the Government of Sucre approximately 10 years ago, where he served as a leader in educational quality.

Abdiel Hernández announced through his social networks the death of his father, whom he catalogs in his messages as the most wonderful being that God gave him.

On November 25, the Special Chamber 22 of Decision of the Contentious Administrative of the Council of State, with a presentation of magistrate Luis Álvarez, decreed the loss of investiture against the deserter of the peace process, Jesús Santrich, representative for the Farc.

In the decision, dated November 25, 2020, the high court analyzes the Attorney General’s claim and agrees with it by considering that “the subjective element of the defendant congressman’s responsibility is fully credited, by way of fraud.”

He adds that “despite the unlawful conduct, he freely and consciously directed his will to non-compliance with the duties imposed on him by his dignity, thereby not only transgressing the legal system, but also defrauding public trust within the framework of the Peace Agreement ”.
