The measure began to take effect on Monday, December 21. Take into account which establishments are exempt from the measure and if your ID applies for the restriction this Thursday.

The increase in infections and deaths in recent days from COVID-19 forced the District to resume the peak and ID measure, after almost three months of having been lifted. And it is not an exaggerated measure if one takes into account that just yesterday, December 23, 5,214 new cases were registered in the capital.

The operation of the restriction is that on even days people whose last digit of their ID is odd will be able to enter commercial zones and on odd days people whose last digit of their ID is even will be able to enter commercial zones.

Remember that in addition to this measure, Mayor Claudia López also decided to resume the entry into business premises of only one person per household, in order to avoid crowds.

This restriction applies to all types of commercial establishments where activities such as the acquisition and payment of goods and services are carried out, and the purchase of any product at retail and wholesale. These include banking, financial, notarial and citizen service entities in public entities.

The peak and ID will not be applied to access health centers, pharmacies, roads and public transport, as well as for funeral services, or in the case of notarial, banking, financial and administrative procedures in which simultaneous presence is required of two or more people.
