Given the worrying speed of COVID-19 infections in the city, the Mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López, announced that starting next Monday, December 21 and until next January 15, the peak and identification measure will be resumed, and only one member per household may go shopping. Read this alphabet that will be supplemented each time there is clarity about the measure.
When does the measure take effect?
It will govern from zero hours (00:00 am) on December 21, 2020 and until zero hours (00:00 am) on January 16, 2021.
In which establishments will it govern?
In all those open to the public to carry out activities such as the acquisition and payment of goods and services, purchase of any retail and wholesale product, banking, financial and notarial services, citizen service in public entities, and provision of any other type of services.
Which ones are excepted?
Health services, pharmacy and funeral services are excepted.
How is the permit according to the identification number?
1. On odd-numbered days, people whose identity card or identity document ends in an even digit may access these services and establishments.
2. On even days, people whose identity card or identity document ends in an odd digit will be able to access these services and establishments.
How many people can go shopping?
Only one person per family unit will be allowed to circulate for the acquisition of goods and services. The control of this measure will be in the head of the commercial establishments or public entities as appropriate and its non-compliance will carry the applicable sanctions according to Law 1801 of 2016.
What exceptions are there for more people to attend?
The measure will not apply in the following cases:
a) Notary, banking, financial and administrative services and procedures that require the simultaneous appearance of two or more people for their performance.
b) The person who provides support to the elderly, people with disabilities or patients with special treatments that require accompaniment to carry out activities or procedures.
c) To the medical personnel and others linked to the provision of the health service duly identified.
d) The distribution of liquid fuels derived from petroleum, in accordance with the provisions of National Decree 1521 of 1998.
