In the event of burns, four points were enabled for care: Simón Bolívar Hospital, Suba Hospital, Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation and La Misericordia Pediatric Hospital Foundation.

In addition to this, it is requested not to apply creams, ointments, ointments, home or medicinal remedies; if blister forms, avoid bursting; wash the affected area with cold or ice water, and go to the nearest medical center or call the emergency line 123.

Finally, it is recalled that biosecurity measures must continue to be observed, such as the use of a mask, distancing and constant hand washing. In 2019, during December 7 and 8, 24 burned people were registered in the capital, of which five were minors.
