The Ministry of Health reported in its daily report that in the last 24 hours, 9,137 new cases of covid-19 were registered in the country, for a total of 1,083,321 confirmed cases of the virus throughout the territory.
This result occurred after processing 45,669 tests, of which 37,477 were for the PCR test and 8,192 for the antigen test.
In this report it was also known that there were a total of 201 deaths related to the virus, of which 165 were from previous days. To date, there are 31,515 deaths.
On the other hand, the portfolio announced that the number of recovered amounted to 977,804 and the number of active cases reached 71,512.
At the regional level, the Ministry announced that Antioquia ranked first with the number of infections in one day with a total of 1,396, followed by Bogotá, with 1,383; Valle, with 929; Caldas, with 566; and Tolima, with 533.
