The Sectional Secretariat of Health and Social Protection of Antioquia reported that 2,663 new registered cases of Covid-19 were presented this Thursday in the department and it rises to 164,814.
Of them in Medellín there are (1,180), Envigado (259), Itagüí (251), Bello (248), Rionegro (97), Sabaneta (89), Girardota (61), Caldas (57), La Estrella (45), Barbosa (36), Copacabana (35), Carmen de Viboral (27), La Ceja (26), Guarne (24), Puerto Berrío (23), Santa Rosa de Osos (11), Apartadó (10), El Retiro ( 9), Marinilla (9), Donmatías (8), Zaragoza (8), Ciudad Bolívar (8), El Peñol (7), Turbo (7), San Pedro de los Milagros (6), Yarumal (6), Sonsón (6), Amagá (6), Cisneros (5), Algeria (5), San Roque (5), Santo Domingo (5), Jardín (5), Fredonia (5), Betulia (4), Chigorodó (4) , Santa fe de Antioquia (4), Hispania (3), Armenia (3), La Unión (3), San Rafael (3), Dabeiba (3), Puerto Nare (2), San Andrés de Cuerquía (2), Tarazá (2), Venice (2), Santa Bárbara (2), Concordia (2), Ituango (2), San Juan de Urabá (2), Nariño (2), San Luis (2), Maceo (2), Caracolí (1), San Vicente (1), La Pintada (1), Guatapé (1), Urrao (1), Abejorral (1), Liborina (1), Sopetrán (1), Angelópolis (1), Peque (1 ), I know govia (1), Nechí (1), Camp (1), Tarso (1), Mutatá (1), Remedios (1), Arboletes (1), Gómez Plata (1), Briceño (1), Puerto Triunfo (1 ), Betania (1), San Jerónimo (1), Entrerríos (1), Ebéjico (1) and Carepa (1).
All these new infected have been previously identified, placed in isolation and under the corresponding epidemiological surveillance.
With these new cases, the number of infected people in Antioquia rises to 164,814. Of these, 82,638 are women and 82,176 are men.

Likewise, it indicates that there are (774) hospitalized patients: (416) in the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, and (358) in general hospitalization.
Regarding patients from other departments and who are hospitalized there are (5) people. De Chocó (1) in general hospitalization and (1) in ICU, Córdoba (1) in ICU, Santander (1) in general hospitalization and Risaralda (1) in ICU.
Regarding ICU beds, the department has 971 for COVID patients. Of them, 789 are occupied as follows: 415 occupied with COVID patients, 127 suspected of COVID and 247 non-COVID. In other words, the occupancy of ICU beds in the department is 81.26%.
