The Territorial Health Directorate of Caldas reported this Monday, October 19, 222 new cases of Coronavirus, 60 recovered and 8 deaths. Today 502 samples were processed.
The positive cases are distributed as follows: Anserma (3), Chinchiná (12), La Dorada (33), La Merced (2), Manizales (143), Manzanares (1), Marmato (2), Riosucio (1), Risaralda (2), Supía (8), Victoria (2), Villamaría (11) and Viterbo (2).
The department has 9,221 confirmed cases, of which 4,281 have recovered and 205 have died. To date, there are 4,708 active cases, of which 65 are hospitalized and 48 in the ICU, the rest are recovering at home. The eight deceased are from: 2 from Manizales, 2 from La Dorada, 1 from Villamaría, 1 from Salamina, 1 from Chinchiná and 1 from Supía.

“They should have removed from yesterday’s report some cases of Manizales that were duplicated in the database of positives, for this reason with today’s cases the figure of 9,221 cases is reached,” said the Territorial.
