The Santa Sofía and SES hospitals in Caldas entered an orange alert this weekend. The reason: the peak of the pandemic that reached Caldas. An example of this are the 166 infected that were reported this Sunday in Manizales.
The department added 221 positives on the day and reached a total of 9 thousand 2 confirmed.
The other cases of the day were 16 in Villamaría, 15 in La Dorada, 9 in Chinchiná, 4 in Supía, 2 in Riosucio, 2 in Viterbo and one by one in Anserma, Aranzazu, Belalcázar, Manzanares, Marulanda, Neira and Palestina.
Meanwhile, the Territorial Health Directorate reported seven people killed by the virus: 2 in Manizales, 1 in Belalcázar, 1 in La Dorada, 1 in Palestina, 1 in Villamaría and 1 in Viterbo.

Caldas has 4 thousand 557 active cases, 4 thousand 221 recovered and 197 deaths.
There are 69 people hospitalized, 49 in the Intensive Care Unit.
