1,203 new infected with Covid-19 in Antioquia

The Sectional Secretariat of Health and Social Protection of Antioquia reported that 1,203 new registered cases of infected by Covid-19 in the department and rises to 211,146.

All these new infected have been previously identified, placed in isolation and under the corresponding epidemiological surveillance.

With these new cases, the number of infected people in the department of Antioquia amounts to 211,146. Of them 107,468 are women and 103,678 are men.

Regarding ICU beds In the department, among which are those destined for the care of patients with COVID19 and patients with other pathologies, Antioquia has a total of 1,250 beds. Of these there are, to date, 904 occupied like this: 290 with COVID patients, 114 suspected of COVID and 500 non-COVID. Thus, the occupancy of ICU beds in the department today is 72.32%.
